We welcome boarding students from Grades 6 through 12. This means families can plan long-term, from early adolescence all the way to university prep. Our support is tailored by age group, junior students get structured routines and extra supervision while senior students have greater independence and guidance on academic choices. Many students join us mid-way through their academic journey, and we help them transition smoothly into Ontario’s curriculum and life at our school.

Definitely. In fact, most of our boarding students come from countries outside of Canada. We offer ESL programs, cultural integration activities, and step-by-step visa support. From arrival to graduation, international students are supported not just in academics, but also emotionally and socially. Our dorm staff are trained in cross-cultural care, and every student is matched with a mentor or peer guide during the first weeks.

 USCA Academy follows the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) curriculum, which is globally recognized and accepted by universities around the world. We also offer AP (Advanced Placement) options for students looking to earn university credits while in high school. This flexible approach means students can align their studies with future goals,whether that’s applying to the Ivy League, Oxbridge, or top Canadian universities like McGill or U of T.

 Our classes are intentionally small,never more than 12 students. This isn’t just a number. It’s a philosophy. Small classes mean teachers can offer more one-on-one attention, spot learning gaps early, and build real relationships with each student. For shy students or those who come from large schools, it can be a refreshing and empowering change.

Safety is non-negotiable. Dormitories are supervised 24/7 by trained residence staff. Security cameras, controlled building access, and nightly check-ins ensure peace of mind. Health staff are available, and students can access emotional wellness support anytime. Parents also receive regular updates, and there’s always someone available to speak with, day or night.

Yes. Students may return home during holidays like winter break, spring break, and summer. For families who prefer their child to stay in Canada, we offer structured holiday programs with supervised trips, enrichment activities, and community engagement. We make sure that whether students go home or stay, they’re well cared for.

 A typical weekday begins with breakfast, followed by classes from 9 AM to 3 PM. After school, students have time for clubs, sports, or supervised study hall. Dinner is served in the residence, followed by downtime or preparation for the next day. Weekends include outings, local excursions, game nights, or simply time to relax. Each day has structure, but also flexibility for students to find their rhythm.
