The University Preparatory Program (UPP) is a FREE one-year curriculum for anyone who wants to prepare for college. It’s made for people who have never been to college or who haven’t studied in a long time. The best part is that no rules about who can join the UPP exist.

The curriculum will help you improve at math, reading, and research and introduce you to how things work at a university. The university preparation program provides the tools you need to be a successful college student, so you may feel confident about attending college.

Benefits for students

Students that choose the pre-university qualification will get a lot out of it:

The best curriculum in Canada

This program was based on the Ontario Ministry of Education, Canada, and will go above and beyond what the Ministry of Education, Canada, says should be in a curriculum.

Qualifications are known all across the world

The Ontario Secondary School Diploma, which students get when they finish the CPU program, is a qualification recognised worldwide and needed to go into most colleges everywhere in the world.

Small classes with the best professors

The main goal of this curriculum is to help students do well. The greatest schools have great teachers who can help your kids learn. Small class sizes give our kids a personalised way to study.

Save time

If students elect to join the CPU program right after they finish Grade 10 in their home countries, they can shorten the period they have to wait before they can go to college.

Admission to the college is guaranteed

Students who finish the CPU program with OSSD are assured of getting into a university in Canada or any other nation.

Guidance supplied

Guidance counsellors will work closely with students to help them make plans for their education and careers. The top places in Canada will also help you fill out your college applications.

Semester structure

University preparation program is a four-semester program that is based on semesters. During these semesters, students may have more freedom to choose the classes they want to take.

Continuous Assessment

Students will be tested and evaluated using assessment done both to and as part of the learning process, as well as assessment done to evaluate the quality of their education. 70% of your mark will come from the tests and quizzes you take during the semester, and 30% will arrive from the final exam after the semester. This would give students a chance to gain confidence during the course and reduce the possibility that they will fail.

How Technology Is Used

Students will access their learning materials through an online learning portal open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Chance to find work and move to Canada

After finishing their first year of college, students can work for up to three years and move to Canada.
